3D laser scanning

3D laser scanners are used to capture data fast and efficiently on site.

Laser scanning captures three-dimensional information by recording millions of points per scan, these are merged with pictures to create coloured pixles. When processed along with total station control it gives precise 360-degree scenes, this enables us to documente entire sites capturing the structure as it stands at that moment in time.

Why laser scan

Laser scanning not only records information in amazing detail, it also does so in a matter of minutes, this enables more information to be recorded in a shorter number of days, perfect for when access time is limited.

What can laser scanners be used for

  • Measured Building Surveys

         Creating accurate As-Built drawings

  • Topographical Surveys

Creating accurate 3D models the land topography.

  • Monitoring

Analysing the degree of deformation of a structure by comparing data           from different points in time.

  • Construction

Quality control of As-Built construction works.
